Ed Hartwell and Keisha Knight Pulliam are pefect examples of why famous people shouldn't tell their business
The little tiff between Ed Hartwell and Keisha Knight Pulliam is a perfect example of why famous people shouldn’t tell normal people their business.
Ever since it was reported that Hartwell and Knight Pulliam are divorcing each other, the two have been going at it like dogs on a back ally street.
They both turned to the media to tell everybody how they really feel. Hartwell, who once played for the Baltimore Ravens and Atlanta Falcons, began this “I can’t stand this… right here.”
Two weeks ago, Knight Pulliam announced on her Instagram page that she is pregnant with her first child. Hartwell has a child, a nine-year-old son named Ed Jr., with his ex-wife and former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa Wu Hartwell.
According to the YBF, a source close to Hartwell said that the former NFL player was divorcing Knight Pulliam because he believed she had given away the “goody good” so that she could get pregnant.
Knight Pulliam and Hartwell are both knocking at the door of 40. She is 37 and he is 38.
And it is only reasonable for a person to question if a man, who is two years away from 40, is able to get a woman pregnant, who is 3 years from 40, as quickly as Knight Pulliam got pregnant after marrying Hartwell.
Evidence in this pudding rest in the fact that when Hartwell was 29 years old, he was able to impregnate his then wife Wu Hartwell who was in her mid-thirties.
Hartwell could perform a feat like that because he was a young man; whereas now, he is an old man trying to make a baby.
So it is reasonable to question if he can fire out his soldiers like a twenty something year old man can do. Hartwell is aware of this fact.
Heck, it most likely contributed to his decision to file for divorce soon after Knight Pulliam announced her pregnancy via Instagram.
In fact, Hartwell issued a statement through his rep. His rep told YBF, “Right now, the only thing I [Ed Hartwell] want is a paternity test for the baby.”
Needless to say, this didn’t go over too well with his soon-to-be ex-wife. Hartwell insinuating, via the online site YBF, that Knight Pulliam is a whore just didn’t sound good.
And yes folks, whenever a man asks his wife for a paternity test that means he believes she’s been whoring around with another man.
Recognizing that it just wasn’t’ a good look for her soon-to-be ex-husband to be talking about how “free” she is with her "pocket book," Knight Pulliam decided to stop by Entertainment Tonight and give her two cents about the situation.
Knight-Pulliam told Nischelle Turner that Hartwell should’ve thought about what he was doing when he made the decision to put their business out in the streets and how it would affect her and his “maybe” daughter.
Knight Pulliam said, “I’m not about dragging people through the mud in the media because again, one day she will read this. And even with the paternity test, one day he will have to answer to her, and explain to her.”
Hartwell, of course, has a different take. He told the New York Post’s “Page Six” that his soon-to-be ex-wife is manipulative and she has her way of getting what she wants.

Hartwell said to New York Post’s “Page Six,” “She wants what she wants, I want what I want: She wants a baby, I want to find love and happiness. But at the end of the day, I think if things don’t add up, I think it’s fair for me, if things don’t add up, to want a test.”
